West Street Home Care of CT carefully screens and interviews each applicant for placement. Our many years of working with local VNAs, doctors and hospitals allows us to expedite requested services.

West Street Home Care of CT offers 24 hour service,
including weekends and holidays.

• Weekend rates begin 3 p.m. Friday through 11 p.m. Sunday (See rates below).
• Holiday rates are one and a half times regular pay.
  • Good Friday, Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day hours:
    11 p.m. holiday eve until 11 p.m. night of the holiday
    
  • Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s hours:
    3 p.m. holiday eve until 11 p.m. night of the holiday

Suggested Rates:

The following are suggested minimum rates per client. Rates are negotiable between client and caregiver.

	Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse: Nurses are available for full shifts and also for 1-2 hours a week to be in touch with the doctor for prescription and medication setups as well as nursing services. Nursing Services - R.N. $25 - $35/hour * Nursing Services - L.P.N. $18 - $28/hour * Staff Relief - R.N. $40/hour * Staff Relief - L.P.N $30/hour * Weekend Rates: $2/hour additional   Certified Nursing Assistant and Personal Care Attendant: C.N.A./P.C.A.s are qualified to do “hands on” care and assist with daily living. Includes: light housekeeping, laundry, meals, shopping, doctor/hair appointments and reading. C.N.A./P.C.A. $12 - $16/hour ** Weekend Rates: $1.50/hour additional   Companion: Companions can offer comfort and a safe environment, light housekeeping, laundry, meals, shopping, doctor/hair appointments and reading. Companion $11 - $17/hour ** Weekend Rates: $1.50/hour additional   Domestic: Domestic services can provide assistance with additional housekeeping needs. Domestic $20 - $25/hour ** Weekend Rates: $1.50/hour additional   * if client desires 4 hours or less per visit $2/hour additional ** if client desires 4 hours or less per visit $1/hour additional   NOTE - There is a 15% discount on the Agency fee for 24-hour care after 2 weeks.
