Hospice

Hospice is a program designed to meet the physical, psychological and spiritual needs of patients and their families as the end of life nears. VNA Northwest aims at providing the highest quality of care to individuals and families. The agency collaborates with other trusted providers in Northwestern Connecticut to improve the quality of life for both the patient and the family as the end of life nears. Recognizing that each patient's needs differ, the agency offers services both at home and in institutional settings.

The mission of VNA Northwest’s Hospice program is to provide comprehensive interdisciplinary care to terminally ill residents and their families throughout Litchfield County.  That care is focused on meeting physical, emotional and spiritual needs and affirms living and dying as a normal process of life.
